ShoSakyu Demo 1.3 (Tech and Quality of Life update)
Hello everyone! We've been working hard the last couple of days to fix the biggest bugs reported, as well as adding features requested by you all. We've added hot key binds and controller support. You can now also fully play ShoSakyu only with mouse/only with keyboard, or both (of course). Thank you again for your constant outpour of love. I have also started working on more content to add in the future! Look forward to it!
One more thing I would like to add: The Kickstarter now has an official launch date! October 18th ShoSakyu will be going live on Kickstarter, and we would REALLY appreciate any support <3 Thank you!
Below are the lists of changes made in this update!
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed bug with autoplay playing frames twice resulting into duplicated data and missed flags
- Fixed bug where "leave room" button fades and only appears again when another room element has been clicked
- Fixed typos in the dialogue
- Restarting the game now doesn't duplicated user data anymore
- Fixed dialogue stating "HANDLE COOKING HERE" when clicking fridge again later in the day
- Fixed a bug where the UI would disappear if player tried to leave the house at the end of the demo
- Fixed a bug where music track that starts during a dialogue wont have fade time at all making it a jumpscare. Now the fade time is 2s
- Nono's sprite position is now centered on the screen
- Added Nono's wing sprite to beginning of game
- Fixed a bug where holding down on doors during evening would cause issues. (Fixed with reworked navigation system)
Features:
- Added Controller and full keyboard support to the game, except in game top UI (currently no name input with controller)
- Added outlines to room doors
- The game window is now resizable
- Text outline thickened for better readability (later controlled from settings)
Added quick controls:
- Skip: Left CTRL (Controller: R2)
- Auto: A (Controller: R1)
- HideUI: H (Controller: L1)
- OpenLog: Scroll wheel up (Controller: no keybind right now)
- CloseLog: Scroll wheel down (Controller: no keybind right now)
- Proceed: Spacebar/Enter (Controller: x on ps4 or A on Xbox)
- LeaveRoom: Q (Controller: O on ps4 or B on Xbox)
- OpenSettings: ESC (Controller: start)

Will the game also be released on Patreon or just on Kickstarter?
The game early builds will be for high tier patrons and Kickstarter backers, then later low tier patrons.
The game will release on steam and itch in February 2025!
